The best Full Day Combo Tour - Volcanoes, Lake & Mayan Sites

This is an excellent tour of the highlights of el salvador. Some of the local guides only spoke Spanish but our guide translated. Recommended.

This tour was absolutely amazing from start to finish! Our guide Adonis was knowledgeable, friendly, and shared fascinating stories about El Salvador’s volcanoes, Mayan history, and culture. Each stop — from the scenic viewpoints at Cerro Verde to the stunning Lake Coatepeque — offered something unique and breathtaking. The hike around the volcanoes was well-paced, and we always felt safe and cared for. Lunch was delicious, and the whole experience felt very well organized. If you only have one day to explore El Salvador, this combo tour is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

This was an excellent tour that touched on all the things in the description. The travel time is long (especially in traffic) so be prepared for that. The weather at the top of the Cerro Verde can be chilly, so bring a light jacket. And motion sickness meds. The drive to the top is winding and several of us felt nauseous at the end. Other than that, the tour was excellent. And the restaurant Casa 1800 that they took us to is spectacular and delicious.

Good experience. Saw some pretty neat sights. Guide was very fun and informational. Pick up and drop off was smooth.

Alfredo Diaz was a knowledgeable guide. He even took the time to answer ally questions about local flowers and trees. Would 100% go on another tour with him.

It was an amazing tour!! I had a private tour since I was the only one there I got so lucky and Adonis was a great tour guide I had so much fun with him it was a beautiful experience I learned so much about my own country that I had so idea. He gave me so much educational information. Honestly the best tour I took while being here. He was hilarious honestly he did a great phenomenal job!!!!super grateful I got to connect with someone intimate one in one while experiencing my own country.

This is one in a lifetime kind of travel experience! Alfredo is an excellent guide! He was punctual, very professional, took some amazing photos of us AND videos, made great suggestions as well, and was overall extremely helpful! Alfredo was very knowledgeable, as he knew all history relevant to the places visited and more, such as Salvadoran culture and politics! We were able to have amazing conversations with him about the places visited and also non-trip related! We’d love to do another tour with Alfredo in the future!

Alfredo is the best!! He was super knowledgeable, kind, and hospitable. I was traveling by myself and he made me feel included. The tour itself was the perfect way to see some of El Salvadors best spots conveniently. One day I want to come back with my mom and sister and do the same tour with Alfredo. I took this tour back in February and I still reminisce on the great time I had that day.
